Third baseman Aramis Ramirez cracked a homer and had 2 RBI and Kason Gabbard
took a no-hitter into the 7th inning as the Jefferson Park Penguins defeated
the St. Paul Saints by the score of 6 to 2 at the ballpark.
Gabbard(1-2) was tremendous on the mound for Jefferson Park. He was stingy on
the mound, allowing just 1 hit and 1 walk in 7 innings improving his ERA from
4.58 to 3.28. The left-handed Gabbard lost his chance for a no-hitter when
Pat Burrell doubled with nobody out in the 7th inning. Jefferson Park had 10
hits for the game and St. Paul had 4.
